LaserDisc Movie Review:
In this original film in the Francis the Talking Mule franchise, a heroic, but anxious soldier, Peter Stirling (Donald O'Connor) strikes up a friendship with Francis, the Army mule. Unfortunately for Peter, Francis will help him with his romantic problems, but won't show his skills to anyone else! As a result, Peter keeps getting sent to the psychiatric ward for insisting on the mules amazing abilities.

Francis the talking mule and his human sidekick Peter are hitchhiking home after the war when they are smitten by members of the opposite sex at a financially troubled horse ranch.
