Cartoon LaserDisc
Did you know that cartoons actually originated around ancient times as the Italian "cartone," used as preparatory drawings for frescoes. The term was later applied to print media in 1843 when John Leech submitted a satirical drawing of frescoes being made in the Palace of Westminster. Because of stylistic similarities between the cartoons of the newspapers and the animated drawings, "cartoon" was applied to animation. "Toon" was then popularized by "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." DaDon supports continuing education (about LaserDiscs of course!) - and you should too by reading DaDon's LaserDisc Newsletter...
These features are highly collectible, and great to help you relive a piece of your youth. But don't feel ancient, unless you actually remember when they were used for frescoes!
