Blonde Crazy:
Bellhop Bert Harris has a little racketeering scheme in addition to his hotel duties. He uses the cash generated by this business venture to hop a ride to another town where he and his sweetheart and fellow con Ann commit a few more scams. As they move farther west they find it's their turn to be grifted. In Chicago, they meet Dapper Don Barker, a counterfeiter busy passing out bogus twenty dollar bills. Bert takes a liking to Don and buys $15,000 worth of counterfeit cash for $5,000 of Ann's money. Bert pays Don, who insists he stashed the $15,000 in a secret drawer. When Bert opens the drawer,he finds it empty. Now the chase is on for Bert to find Don and retrieve Ann's five grand.

Lady Killer:
When a movie theater usher is fired, he takes up with criminals and finds himself quite adept at various illegal activities. Eventually though, the police catch up with him, and he runs to hide out in Los Angeles. There he stumbles into the movie business and soon rises to stardom. He has gone straight, but his newfound success arouses the interest of his old criminal associates, who are not above blackmail.
