Badfinger was a rock band that got the sort of break any band would envy -- they were signed by the Beatles to their record company, Apple, and got to work with both Paul McCartney and George Harrison. The group scored a handful of brilliant pop hits, including "Day After Day," "Baby Blue," and "No Matter What." However, within a decade of their big break, Badfinger was drowning in debt and desperately trying to free themselves from a bad management deal; the strain was so great that two of the founding members took their own lives.
